This collection of ice stories, featuring icebergs and glaciers from both Iceland and Greenland, poignantly reveals both their exquisite beauty and architecture, and their rapid demise.
Having witnessed icebergs sometimes flip upside down, showing off their beautiful blue underbellies, and then break apart into chunks that are rapidly swept away to sea, I've sometimes taken the liberty of flipping my images of icebergs and glaciers upside down and sideways and breaking them into pieces, to reveal more intimate perspectives.
Several of the images included in this collection received first prize in the Professional Series "Nature" Category of the 22th Edition of the Julia Cameron Award for Women Photographers 2024.
